Does anyone know of a good place to find power consumption data for components? I'm trying to calculate whether or not a power supply will suffice for a build based on it's capacity by voltage.
For some components I can go to manufacture website and find the information pretty easily. Others I'm not having such luck. Also I found a review from Xbit labs where they actually measured the usage from a GeForce 7950GT card, so that takes care of me there.
But for other things.. what about usage on an ASUS P5B motherboard, or the new C2D processors, or Seagate SATA drives, etc etc. Does anyone know of a good resource where I should be able to find all of this information, or potentially how to compute it from information that might be available?
Any help would be great! I just want to make sure there is plenty of power on each voltage for each device, as well as room to grow.
