Hi all,

I just bout a Lenovo Y50 laptop, and the only area where the unit lacks is in graphics. It has both Intel HD video and Nvidia GTX-860M discreet graphics.

The unit needs more graphics umph. Where can I find compatible graphics cards at a reasonable price? Maybe the gtx-880M?

It's a notebook, not a desktop. The chassis is designed to cool the options it has from the vendor, and there aren't nice and easy standard drop-in cards, in most cases. The Y50 wasn't designed for a 880M, so even if there is one you can get from another notebook that would fit, it might overheat, or suffer power issues.

If you want more graphics performance, look at the Asus G750 and G751 series.

To start with we'll need some basic information. What's the interface of your current GTX 860M? And what are it's dimensions?
