Where to find copper?

It'd like to make a custom heatsink for my graphic card. For this I need a piece of copper about 2-3 mm thick.
Do you have an idea where I can find this?
I have looked on ebay, by Ace Hardware and had no luck 🙁

To tell the truth, my project is to have a copper heatsink for my NV6800 that uses stock holes for easy mounting and unmounting. I plan on cutting a thin sheet of metal to cover the ram chips and attach/solder/glue some small copper heatsink that i have.
I have found an online shop that sell metal: http://www.lowcostmetals.com/
But as for Dangerden, their copper is too thick.
I found some 1/8" copper sheet on Ebay.
Of course, I could try a little bit around my place. But I don't know the area very well... and I 'm not too motivated to drive 10 different shops.
Thanks for your suggestions! 🙂

What the heck...that site looks a lot like Onlinemetals.com.
And thanks for the link. I am actually looking for pricing on some large sheets of aluminum and polycarbonate.🙂

Ace Hardware stores usually have a section that sells little sheets of metal, so if you've got one of them around, check there. They may go by different names though - the three nearest me go by the names Weavers, DeTurk's, and simply Ace Hardware. But all three have the Ace Hardware logo on their signs.
