where to find a molex cable for 6800GT?

more info...pcie version or agp?
a molex connector is just a regular hard drive/cd drive connector on your power supply...just plug one in to your card. make sure that the 6800GT is the only thing plugged in on the line though otherwise you will have stability problems.

ah sorry - it was late when i posted - I mean the molex to PCIe type deal. I have a 6800GT PCIe card (eVGA). I was also wondering if you could tell me - is it in any way "bad" to have an entire "grouping" of molex connectors from the PSU hooked up to stuff? I have one strand that I want to hook up to my DVD drive, HD, and GPU - is this going to cause a problem?

You will need 2 molex connectors for the graphics card.

PCI-E power adapter

It's a bad idea to hook all of that up to one connector.

I wish we could get out of the habit of using the term "Molex" connector, since all of these connectors are Molex connectors, as are most of the power connectors on the motherboard. Molex is the company that pioneered this type of connector.

well damn - I'm running out power leads fast.....
are there cables for adding length to the SATA power cables then? If I had one of those I could use my SATA power cable from my PSU and save some more 4 pin power connectors...

A lot of people ask about SATA cable extenders, but I have never seen them.

It may be time to look at a new power supply with more connectors. A new supply will already have a PCI-E connector for the video card.

I bought OEM Evga 6800GT's (pci express) and they came with the power connectors... i was thinking they didnt come with it and bought 2 more, so i now have 2 extra, wanna take them off my hands?

fvck - I just bought this one so I would really rather not spend the cash on another just yet...
