Where to find a good Video Codec Pack??

I found NIMO's Codec a long time ago, but someone told me it contained spyware. Is there a good codec available somewhere without spyware? Thanks-
 
I use FFDSHOW for my video codecs and have not run into a single file that I can't play, other then quicktime/real files.
 
Hm... I did some searching for codecs a couple months back and it seemed like the "experts" in forums were recommending not to get codec packs but just download the codecs individually. It worked a lot better for me when I did that. does it depend on the pack?
