I know it's technically software but it's to work on th enetwork so figured this was more appropriate.

I changed my network around today because a router went kaput. Now I need to reset one of my ancient JetDirect boxes. It doesn't hvae a built in web server so I need to use Web Jetadmin.

However HPs site takes me to the download page full of drivers, docs, plug-ins, etc but I can't find where to get the actual program.

I go to this site:
http://www.hp.com/go/webjetadmin

Click the link for "Download Now"
Pick XP,
And have no idea wth I'm supposed to download.

Anyone had to work with this recently and know what's going on?

Thanks.

No. Shouldn't have to do that if they had a decent website.

I just stumbled on the 8.1 version after half an hour of searching so I'm installing that now. Should do what I need.

telnet to the JD box? I've never used web jet admin much, and you might need the ancient "JetAdmin" (no web involved) for an old JD box.
