take it back to pep boys. They'll take it and dispose of it or you can try your local recycling center.
 
If you're connected to city sewer, find out if you can dump it down the drain. You can in my city.

NOTE: This applies to ethylene glycol coolant only, not other automotive fluids!!!

Yes, but some don't like doing it. (since I think they have to pay a fee to recycle it, but are required to do so). As mentioned in an earlier post, coolant can be poured down the drain in most cities.
 
They should also have public depots in your town set up for such disposal. I would ask your local waste management department(the same people who you have to call to have them pick up your recyclables/trash) to find the nearest location.
