Hi.

I'm looking for used computer components, or a reasonably priced used system.

I'm a cheapskate, and won't use my computer much; just wondering where I can get some slightly outdated hardware.

appreciate any help

sorry, I've been out of circulation for quite a while.

Also, I can't access that link. Subscribers only? Does it see the noob in me?

I'm not trolling, and I really don't mean to cause trouble.
I checked the forum listings several times, since it seemed odd.

WTF I mean is that the page does not load, I get an error popup that says the following:

ERROR: Sorry, you do not have permissions to access the requested object.

Error Code: 144

[OK]

Thanks Tu13er.

LOL, I love how they always think they can sell a 15-year-old system for $80.

Craigslist is worth checking out, at least.

Craigslist.org is awesome, but sometimes you have to deal with un-reasonable people. The general public is not very computer friendly and many of them think their 5 year old computer they paid $900 for is still worth $900.

Belive me you can find some good stuff at goodwill, I saw a Linksys Wireless G router at my local shop and to find the good bargains like New in the box professional UMAX scanners you need to have several shops that you stop by at least once a week. You may go three or four weeks and not find anything but getting that one hot deal makes it all worth while. Like I said about craigslist.org the general public does not know most of the time what it is they are giving away.

After a ton of emails she lowerd the price to $450 but I did not bite since the same machine was selling on ebay for $199-250. Check out the thread from November, she was trying to get almost 100% of what she paid for it even though it was slow and out of date.
