I had burned out all the 5v pins on my Antec 400w atx connector on a faulty epox 8k7a MB on my old system (if you remember, this brand MB had problems where it would draw excessive amounts of power, particularly 5v power)
This was about 2 years ago. I've still been using the powersupply with the burnt connectors by cleaning it frequently of the corrosion with a metal prong, but it seems to be giving out. Need to buy the plastic connector part (since the plastic around the 5v pins are melted) and probably strip and connect the wires again.
Where can I obtain the bare connector? Thanks.
I need this thing (shown in mechbgons website, labelled atx cable)
Edit:Also, any other possible fixes such as soldering the atx cable wires directly to the MB? While I dont have the skills to do it, my dad probably can.
