Where to buy speaker stands to fit 3.5"x3.5"x7.5" satellite speakers.

Bought my system at circuit city, but I need two for the front two, and I think I can put the back two on shelves in the back of the room. CC wants $80 for 2 stands, which I think is ridiculous. Target has some for like $30 for 2 which is better, but don't match the silver speakers.

Anywhere to get them?

They're spendy, build them yourself & save money.

Check out hometheaterforum for ideas, last time I checked people were filling them with bead blasting beads (cheap, clean, and heavy).

Lots of simple stands out there to build, but if you want to buy them, check PE as they have a few as well.

Not particularly clean, & fine enough to be difficult to contain.

You can buy clean sand, and it's not a problem to contain if your workpiece isn't riddled with holes.

I just bought some nice stands for my Athenas at RadioShack. They were $19 on closeout. Last year's model I believe.

pardon, but wtf you guys talking about? (bead blasting beads? I assume spraying whatever down with little particles but for what reason?)

Good stuff, I'm also interested in a link. Perhaps eBay?

Here.

I have a set of Ikea stand but they are different from these. They are your standard 3 foot high metal stands that can be adjusted.
