I need to pick up a new black cartridge for my HP Deskjet 1050 and was wondering where you guys go to buy your inkjet cartridges. I know Walmart sells ink but I figured one of you smart dudes would have a great website with better prices than there. ;)

HP inks are just about the exact same price everywhere. You very rarely find a discount. Best bet is go to HP direct as you can get some good deals there. Now some people will use after market or refilled inks in the HP and they are happy with them, I personally use HP Original inks direct from the HP site. Std capacity Black is $16.99 ... High capacity Black is $33.99

I can't vouch for HP prices but if I plan ahead I get my Epson ink from www.atlex.com. It's usually about $2 cheaper per cartridge. Costco isn't too bad, either.

Yeah that looks like the same as Walmart's price for the the std and XL inks I need (HP 61).

It's tempting to get one of those remanufactured/refilled HP 61 black inks since they're about half the price. The reviews seem good too.

Swiftink gets my vote as well. Never an issue with them, and their customer service is responsive.

Personally I order direct from HP .. for my needs I only go through about 1 or 2 sets of inks in 1 year. I was in Best Buy a few days ago, their price on HP ink is very high. As to using ink from Swift Ink, I have not yet tried them. The quality for most use may be fine.
