I dont think they make retail 1Ghz/100 PIII's. I'm pretty sure the highest retail PIII/100 os 800Mhz and 900Mhz for some OEM's.

Just to add.. yes they do make P3 1GHz cpus that run at a 100Mhz FSB (it's in SECC2 casing), the following Intel site lists all CPU facts:
Pentium III Processor Specification

Also the 100Mhz FSB is both retail and OEM, the site just tells you the box product codes to look for. The P3 1Ghz with 100Mhz fsb is only available in SECC2 format.

Check this.

As you'll see, the 1 GHz P3's are:

MHz..... FSB Stepping.... Form...... Volts CPUid Retail..... OEM.....

1000... 100 cC0........... SECC2... 1.70 0686h SL4KL.. SL4BR...
1000... 133 cB0........... SECC2... 1.70 0683h SL4FP... SL48S...
1000... 133 cC0........... SECC2... 1.70 0686h N/A...... SL4BS...
1000... 133 cC0........... FC-PGA.. 1.70 0686h SL4MF.. SL4C8...

Oh, yes - almost forgot. I don't know where you can get them.

Maybe check PriceWatch carefully. Check out the vendors at ResellerRatings before you order.

Same for
iBuyer.net.

Buy.com has them here for $559.95. I don't think its worth it to go this fast for that price. There are coupons out there that might bring this down $50 or so.

Search on pricewatch.com for "pentium 1000e" and there are several listings.
