I'm fixing these speakers a buddy of mine picked up for free. The woofers are rated at 100w RMS (just shy of the 125 RMS his system can put out). Everything but the woofers are broken, but the speaker cabinets are beautiful (esp after he refinished them). He rarely runs it at max volume, as its a 5.1 system with 125 wats going to every speaker, and 150 going to the sub. Basically, I need a pair of 5.25" 6 ohm Midranges, and a pair of 3" Tweeters that can all handle at least 100w RMS each.
I would like some from a reputable brand (such as JBL, Pioneer...) but if anyone knows of a small time manufacturer they have good personal experience with shoot it out as well. I'm looking to spend less than $100 total.
