I took the plunge and ordered a CIS for my Canon Ip4000, in the past I've ordered generic carts from various web sites. A lot of them looked pretty bad compared to the print quality of OEM carts. I'm seeing bulk 1 liter bottles but I don't know what company is well known here. CIS companies aren't exactly common and the market for bulk ink isn't big. I'm seeing 1000 ml bottles for $40-50, which is around 65 Canon carts. Price is awesome, but I'd be willing to spend 2-3x for much higher quality ink. And I'm not thrilled with the idea of buying 5 1000ml bottles only to find out the ink's crap. Maybe someone here has some CIS experience and can point me towards a legitimate company here. Even with cheaper refills from a place like Swiftink, with a CIS I'm still looking at about 1/3rd the cost.
