I've got experience with both actually. I liked Monarch right up until they wouldn't give me money back on a bad motherboard. They received it, said it was all set to go, then just didn't do it. Finally several weeks later they gave me the credit. I've ordered from them several times, and so have some friends, and that's the only strike against them. Also of note - they are slow. I think they take your order and then source the part perhaps? It ALWAYS takes several days to ship something. If they have the lowest price, you will get the part, I trust them on that, it just won't be very quickly.

NewEgg has ben nothing but perfect for me. I think they are my favorite computer store. Everything always comes sooner than I expect it. I also dig how you can see right away if they have stock on something. In fact, I've never heard anything bad about them. I got my GF3ti200 from them in fact, a month ago or so. Just bought a HItachi monitor from them on Sunday, and have had it several days now - this was ground shipping - it was like 3 days to get it.

I'd recommend Newegg, even if you have to wait. They have something where you can give your email address and receive an automated e-mail when stock is on hand again. I'd do that, and just be ready when you get the mail to place an order quick.:)

I've dealt with Monarch a few times, they were a bit slow once but otherwise I've had no problems at all dealing with them. I'm sure I'll deal with them again in the future.

I don't think newegg has ever gone out of stock on these for more than a day or two, just wait it out.

I've been watching for a refurb of one of these (they generally are 119 when they get them), but keep missing out.

At this point I think I'm just gonna wait for the GF4 comes out to see if this drops a little in price.

okay, i guess ill just wait it out.. it would be alot easier just to have it all in one shipment than to get it from multiple places..

unrelated: i've never purchased anything from newegg (amazing huh?), but how long is the wait after placing your order, to actual shipment? i think on their website, it says 1 day processing. is that the case?

thanks

My stuff usually ships from them the next day (never same day). I have had it take two days to ship though.

I've had stuff ship the same day from Newegg, as well as taking up to 3 days. But that's definitely faster than other places. Their customer service is also top-notch, which IMO is the most important thing in an online store.

Yea, I would personally wait for Newegg. I've spend thousands on them because thier service and support is second to none.
