The one thing that i'm worried about with the alpha is it's weight....i read somewhere that it is extremely heavy. This will be my first time building a system, so I really don't want to crush the core of my chip.

Which is easier to install? Alpha or SK6? Also, which fan should pair with these heatsinks...not the alpha (way to loud).

2COOLTEK is the best place IMO. I just ordered a Radeon cooling kit
and received it in 2 days via USPS (From FL to RI).

It would be hard to crush your core with this heatsink (Pal 8045)if you follow the directions properly. You have to tighten the screws in a cross pattern to prevent unequal
pressure. The only thing negative I can say about this HSF is that you have to remove the motherboard to install it, Otherwise its the best one I ever seen. It dropped
my temp 12c and I got rid of my screaming Delta.

Dont worry about breaking your mobo with an Alpha PAL8045. It aint that heavy, and it IS mounted via the 4 holes in the mobo. The shim will protect your CPU plenty :)

Fan? I use Sunon 2.1W 80mms :) I just got 2 of the kits from 2cooltek. Pretty decent temps, always under 32*C. (office environment with A/C)

I got my SK-6 and 60mm Sunon fan from 2CoolTek. It works much better than my old equipment. However, I'm going to lap the SK-6, as it's not the smoothest finish...
