Sams Club has a 35# thing of olive oil, if thats what you're asking.

its the VERY first press of olives, making it the best oil, and thus EXTREMELY expensive.

It's not that expensive, really. They have different applications, EV olive oil is for eating raw, and plain olive oil is for cooking.

Dunno where you got your info. EV olive oil browns faster and smokes, so it's better to use plain olive oil, and better still to use other vegetable oils or peanut oil.

Edit: I was just reading about olive oil, apparently both Extra Virgin and Virgin olive oil are first-press, but Extra Virgin has a lower acidity.

You have been listening to RayRay too much.
EVOO is only worthwhile for raw food. If you are cooking regular OO is better.

The weight of bulk, alternator-sized, containers of olive oil would render any online savings to be moot when it came time to pay for shipping.

I don't understand when people think it's cheaper to buy stuff like this online, even with the high density and shipping cost of oil, meat, etc.
