Hey guys. Where can I buy an Elsa Gladiac Video Module? I can't find any of the Elsa cards that have video out built in. I'd like to get the Elsa Gladiac that has the GeForce2 Ultra 64MB DDR setup. I can't find this card with video out. Now, I guess I can buy the Elsa Video Out module, but I can't find that either! Where are all of the Elsa products? I like Elsa over Hercules because of the bad 2D on the hercules cards, also because Elsa is a lot cheaper, too. Anyone know where I can get a video module add-on for the Elsa or another card that has Video out, 64MB DDR, and is retail boxed?

Thanks.

Elsa revised the Video Module, should have supplies sometime this month again. Go here Link .

I have the LeadTek Ultra with S-Video/DVI out, a very good card, 2d is only wanting at 1600x1200 but I bought it for the DVI output for my LCD monitor. You can find it here for an excellent price- Link

Of course for a little more money you can get the VisionTek Geforce3 with S-Video out at the same place. :)

Dude! That rocks! I hope that they get stock in sometime soon! I'll just get the Elsa now, and then get the video module later when it's available! Do you think I should just get the VisionTek GeForce3, and how is the 2D/3D quality as well as the drivers, compatibility, quality? To be quite honest, I've had problems with no-name companies in the past, and it makes me weary to buy them again (VisionTek). Elsa is awesome namebrand and I know they have awesome quality and the 2D is superb, comparable to that of an ATi Radeon card. Is it worth it to go with a GeForce3 right now? Personally, that's quite a bundle of money for only mediokre features of that over a GeForce2 Ultra. Aren't GeForce3 cards suppose to have different chips in them soon?

Thanks for the info!

VisionTek manufactures the majority of Elsa's cards so the quality should be the same. I have an Elsa Gloria III and a Dell version of the same card made by VisionTek. I cannot tell the difference even down to the bios level, except the Dell card cost $400 less. I have seen the Elsa Ultra and the VisionTek Ultra and once again no differences. I am sitting here looking out the second story window waiting on Fed-Ex to arrive with my GeForce3s. :) I will report my findings upon receipt of the card. If I were buying an Ultra today I would spend the extra $75 or so for the GeForce3. Otherwise I would buy the GeForce2 Pro and clock it to the Ultra speeds for a lot less money. The Radeon 64mb ViVo is a very good card also and is quite cheap now, that would be a good path to take considering your need for excellent 2d and video out as they are about the best in that area.

Man! That must have costed you an arm and a leg at that time! I'm looking at the Elsa Gladiac 920 GeForce3. Pretty damn spendy, still. May just go with an Ultra or Pro. I dunno yet. ATi has some pretty attractive prices and features for the cost of the card, compared to nVidia cards.

I may just end up getting the ATi Radeon 64MB DDR VIVO. Low cost and has all the features I need. Decent FPS, considering the value.
