where to buy DVI to VGA converter?

mangled

Senior member
Went to Fry's and they don't have them.

I want to convert the DVI connector on the back of my ti 4600 to VGA so I can hook a standard CRT monitor up to the second display adaptor. Can't afford a flat panel yet.

My card, a Visiontek, doesn't supply one with the board. So anyone know where I can buy one online?

Thanks!

you can try this site:
here

it says ATI but i would think you could use it for anything. email the site though first of course. 😉

newegg also has it.

I didnt know my MSI GF4ti4400 came with a converter, so i bought the one from newegg also. (it's also the ATI)

I could test it, if you want me to.

Does the adapter at newegg work for nvidia cards? 😕

I would like to purchase one but I am a little hesitant. I just bought a Visiontek Geforce Ti4200 at Best Buy. Good deal with rebate at buy.com.

Good luck. Let me know how it works out. I just picked an MSI Ti4600 and it came with the adapter. I am thinking about setting it up. 😀
