Basically, a thicker wire allows you to cover longer distances without degradation. For a 10ft run, the 24AWG should be fine.

There's always degradation over length. The thicker gauge just lessens the effect.

Are Cables4Less and CablesForLess the same?

NOOOO.

Cablesforless.com is what you want. I've ordered from them several times and they've always had great products for the price. Quick shipping also!
