where to buy DSl modems?

Are there ANY places that sell DSL modems? I will need one soon and I was wondering if people have bought them from other places besides from their phone company. Cable modems can be had for a lot cheaper from places besides the cable company just wondering if it is the same for DSl modems.

I hate to say it, but Egay is one of the best places for DSL modems.

Bellsouth wanted 160$ + shipping for an alcatel speed touch home, and I got mine for 112$ shipped from Ebay. YMMV, but I got mine a few months ago, so prices should be even lower by now.
 
the only other place besides the phone co. that i found is circuit city.........not even best buy or comp usa had them.......
