Where to buy dress shirts and ties?

Brooks Brothers.

Don't know why the dude above buys ties at Macy's. BB ties are some of the only ones left that are still made in the US. Good quality and not that expensive.

They have their Father's Day sale going now, 40% off.

I personally think Van Heusen is the best in quality versus price. They make shirts that fit me well and their suits aren't bad either.

Marshalls. Brand name for less.

My friends always compliment how well I dress. It's not where you shop, it's what you shop wisely.

I know some dumbasses who spend their hard earned cash of $70-80 on one dress shirt of SAME brand as the one I get at Marshalls.

I buy ties at Macy's. They have a wide variation of ties there so I always find a few that I like.

Shirts I buy from different places like Banana Republic, Brooks Bro or Ralph Lauren.

+3 Macy's

I actually just bought a shirt last week. Skip to the sale stuff and try a bunch on to make sure you like the fit. If nothing really works come back in a week and try all the new sale items.

Back when I had to wear a tie I used to get them from the guys selling them on the street. They were cheap but served the purpose.

+2 Macy's

I haven't shopped there much...but I know a ton of people that have gotten steals when they change floorsets. Tommy Bahama shirts for $10 and the like.

I just checked out a Kohls that opened up down the street. Got some great clothes for cheap. Dockers for $20, casual buttondowns for $15. plus a $10 off anything coupon for every $100. Picked up a silver chain for $2 with it.

I personally don't care on name brands, I look for fit and finish. In dress shirts the JC Penney Stafford brand fits me well esp their executive cut when I was training. Reasonable in price, close by and made well.

I wear nothing but Brooks Brothers with a smattering of Charles Tyrwhitt and Thomas Pink.

A good shirt that will last a long time, has good fabric, and non-iron (mostly), is a must.

Nordstrom Outlet FTMFW. Ok, it's last reason's style, but it's still nice and fresh. Everything's 50% to 60% off, so you end up spending more than you would at Macy's. Man, Macy's a fucking rip off. Even on sale, it's expensive.
