Im looking for a notebook with the following:
Corde 2 duo 2.00 GHZ
2 GB ram
GeForce go 7950gtx
7200 rpm hard drive
17 inch wuxga display
Gonna be used to replace my desktop mainly for gaming and 3d modelling (catia).
Since i live in canada, quebec to be more specific, i dont want to buy from the USA to avoid duty fees. Ive searched alot for custom notebook builders based in canada and so far i found these:
Tagar systems
Sinsystems
Dell canada
M-tech laptops
The one on top of my list so far is the DELL M1710. Only problem is i want a more serious looking notebook,nothing flashy.
So any other canadian based custom notebooks builders i missed? And id like to get opinions of canadian who recently bought their notebooks from the USA regarding to duty fees.
