Where To Buy a good computer repair tool kit and what is good software do you all use to maintain your computers?

you're asking a hybrid question that could go in this forum, in the FS/T forum, or the software forum.

WTB usually means "want to buy" and i'm assuming you want to buy it if you're asking "where to buy" it

long titles are not a deterrence here and i know that "where to buy" will not bring you over the max # of characters for the title

As far as tools pretty much all you need is a philips screw driver in most cases. I suppose wire strippers could come in handy.

If you wanna get really hardcore you could get a soldiering iron and a digital multimeter.

For software I'd check out this thread.

Yeah I looked there and I remember there was a guys screenshot where he had his voltages on his screen... do manufacters usually do something like Intel's Active Monitor.

Got mine at office depot for $9.95. Has lots of screwdrivers, doodads, watchacallits, screws, etc.

Yeah, most provide something. They aren't always the most accurate things though.... A digital multimeter would be more accurate.
