i wanted the comics where magneto ripped the adamantium outta wolverine's body. i wanted the graphic novel, but it's not up on ebay at the moment. or just the comics itself would be cool too. i believe the storyline was called "fatal attractions" (thanx to neomits for that info :))

That is the fatal attraction saga and it was one of the best outside of the dark pheonix saga. If you buy the comic books make sure you get the ones with the holograms on the cover! I am glad i never got rid of my comic book collection, that series is stiff fun to read.

ok... i think i just found what i am looking for but i have a few questions. when was this "fatal attractions" series released? i was looking at the description of an auction which someone had put up, and it states that they are all first prints, and initially published in 1993. is that right? so all this time, wolverine had his adamantium ripped out and i didn't know? i must've been living under a rock. next question... i found the 6 issues first print bundle for about $20 shipped. the graphic novel is about $30 shipped. i would figure the actual books should be more than the graphic novel... right??? any comic guru's out there? please advise :)

I was a comics "guru" at one time. That '93 time frame sounds about right. I have all the books in that story arc. Let me go check it real quick.............

Yep, X-Men #25, October, 1993, pg.42. <---- How's that? ;)

The comics market ain't what it used to be. Personally, I'd rather have the comics instead of the TPB. They all have kewl holograms on the cover. And it's cheaper!

Wow! Comics! Something I haven't read in quite awhile! Last I really read a comic was back in about '93 or '94.... Yep, they've been in storage for about 8 or so years! :)

I wish I knew what to do with my collection! I put about $20,000-25,000 into the books. I want to sell them but I don't want to part with part of my childhood. Of course, I also don't have the room to put many boxes of books. :(

Of course, like every fan, I read the books, not buy them and hide them away.
