Where to buy Car Tires

My tired are going bald I need to buy 4 new tires...the local mom & pop shop is charging alot.

were are some good places to buy tires besides...

Sears
Costco

Sears is usually pretty good, that's where my parents usually go.
Also, discount tire co. if you have them.

I don't like NTB. I personally think they will screw you if given the chance (even tho I know Sears owns them).

Personally, I wouldn't go to Sears unless I had to.
You can get 2 tires at Tirerack for the price of 1 at Sears.
Tirerack ships really quickly, too.

Tirerack is fine and all.. but then you have to get them mounted. I like Discount Tire.

Tirerack.com is great for prices. What I personally did was got a price from there and got Sears to pricematch. I had to pay taxes so it came out a little bit more, but I didn't mind that little bit extra. I wanted to have my rotation/balancing done at Sears since it's connected to our mall here and I can shop/eat lunch there while I'm waiting.

I just ordered from TireRack last night.

Try doing some comparison shopping, and don't forget to factor in installation and disposal (and shipping, if you buy from tire rack)
It's amazing how fast the price climbs when you add all the extras. I considered buying a manual tire machine off ebay, but figured it would suck more than it would save

Hell yea. I got tires from there but when he first quoted me $435 for 2 tires for my wifes VW Golf I was heading out the door laughing all the way. He actually chased me down in the parking lot and gave me a better deal on "probably" better tires.

If u have local hibdon tires or tires plus they usually can match the price from Tirerack.com

YMMW on the pricematch 🙂
