And MAD EASY to make.

Buy a big or small packet of rice for $7-10 (which will contain ungodly 15~ servings)

Put rice into the cooker pot.

Put 2x amount of water.

Turn on the cooker to cook.

25 mins later, voila! your own FRESH, steaming', glistenin with moisture, kickass rice at fractions of the cost.


Packaged fully cooked rice? That must be scary.

being asian, i know it's crazy to think of precooked rice, but it's not that bad.

i suppose, if you were a bachelor or living by yourself, you might want to through a pack in the microwave and have it in just a few minutes.

I'm the laziest motherfvcking bachelor on the planet (24 yrs old).

You just put the rice into the cooker, add water and turn on switch. I don't know how 'instant precooked rice' saves anymore time than this. Plus cooked rice = amazing quality

again, i'm not an advocate of precooked rice myself......but:

microwave rice: 1-2 minutes
real rice: 20+ minutes

I guess, but I meant the actual difficulty of the process, not time saved.

Holy smokes...50lbs of rice would last my wife and I about 3 years and probably longer.
