I need it tomorrow morning by 10:30AM, so online purchasing isn't an option.

any B&M stores that sell them? looking to spend around $30ish, but I don't know what the going price is so I can go up or down.

Will be using it to catapult a 12 inch GI Joe type doll, so a toy sized one may work. The exact scope of the project also includes hot dog buns, cocoa butter, handcuffs and a bean bag. a midget may or may not be involved as well.

Original plan is to run the usual gamut of stores (TRU/Target/Walmart/etc), just wondering if anyone knows for sure of a place that sells them so I don't have to embark on some sort of trebuchet treasure jaunt.

I'll be spending the rest of the evening in google looking for some ideas as well.

I suggest you start looking now because I highly doubt that a trebuchet of that size (or any trebuchet at all) is available at your local retail chain.

The distance the item is thrown does not need to be far. even a few feet is fine.

I was hoping there would be a toy one that would get the job done

it does not need to be a trebuchet per se, it can be a catapult, mangonel, or onager as well

Might check your local hobby shops then too... Mine has a 1/72 trebuchet by Dragon Models... Not sure about the size though.

If dell is nearby you can ask to borrow theirs...they only use it to send new trainees to India once a week now.

I've always had to build my own trebuchets. I've never come up with a plan that involved me purchasing a trebuchet to be used in less than 24 hours.

Wow. You know when you read a thread title and click on it absolutely not expecting it to be a serious question...?

As suggested, try a hobby/craft store. You might also purhase an erector set, assuming they still make them, and easily and quickly build one.

I built a 30 foot tall trebuchet in high school for a physics project that threw 12lb bowling balls over a thousand feet. It was built completely out of scrap metal, so you should be able to come up with something.

I wish I went to your high school.
