I'm looking into get this Smith & Wesson 629 Comp. Hunter. What would be the best route to go to buy it. Is it better to find somewhere online to by it from and have them ship it to a FFL dealer or just find someplace local. It would be around 50 dollar in tax if bought locally compared to no tax for out of state purchases. Has anyone bought a gun online?

Dude, you're in the South. There should be like more gun dealers than McDonalds down there. Yellow Pages. Any S&W dealer can order it for you.
