Where to buy a flat power cable? Looks like a monitor cable.

Just bought a new plasma TV. I plan on mounting it to the wall, so I want my power cable as small as possible. Where can I buy one of the flat plugs where the cord hangs to the side of the prongs instead of coming straight out? I dont want it getting in the way. The connection to the TV looks just like a monitor or powersupply cable. I want a place where I can go for local pickup. Dont want to wait for delivery after buying online.

we have one or 2 here at work if its what i think you're talking about. have no idea where they came from though. its like an L shaped power connector, right?

Sounds like you're looking for a right-angle power cord? Should be readily available at Best Buy/CompUSA/Staples/etc and certainly available online if you strike out locally...

Good luck finding it. I know what you're talking about, but it is pretty specialized considering they usually only ship them with certain products. It may take a little extra work to find a place that carries them. Try eBay and pricewatch.com

There's a place called National A/V Warehouse near my house here... don't know if its a national chain or not but a google search didn't bring anything up. Probably not a chain.
