Where to buy a BIOS chip. Anyone??

I know there was a site that you could buy the bios chip and the would even flash it for you. Can anyone tell me where to go for this?

dude wtf are yout talking about?

the bios is just a rom image. the chip is the flash rom that stores the image.

I am aware of that fact energeticelectron. They are palces has alrady linked that you can purchase ROMs with yout BIOS flashed on it. I was just being lazy.

I recommend badflash.com.
You have a choice whether to get a chip w/bios file, or send a fried bios chip and let them reprogram it cheaper.
They send it very fast, too.

Or buy a blank EEPROM and flash it in another motherboard by hot swapping. If the flasher complains about this, use a universal flash program, such as Uniflash .

Try an ISA video card before giving up completely.
