where to buy 450 watt p.s.?

You might start by going to the AMD site. Find the page under Athlon for approved PS's (http://www1.amd.com/athlon/power), find a vendor that looks good and click on them and find out where they recommend you buy. This may not lead directly to an on-line store, but at least you can get a specific PS model # to search for.

A lot of case and cooling sites sell PS's also.



 
I know it's not quite what you wanted, but I saw a 400W at the Fry's in San Jose, CA (on Brokaw Rd). Was about $40 I think.
