where to buy 40x cd-r's?

MrDudeMan

Lifer
i bought a 40x drive (lite-on) and i cant find anywhere besides plextorshop.com that sells 40x cdr's! the ones from plextorshop are WAY too expensive, so that is out of the question.

anyone know where i could get a pack of 40x cd-r's? as long as the price is decent, the size of the pack doesnt matter, but 50+ per pack would be nice =)

thanks for the help

Bump

I just got this burner, too. I want to know.

Until then, many of the 32X CDRs should burn at 40X.

I've also heard that Plextor burners tend to be too fast for their firmware - so you might be better off sticking to 32X burning.

One more thing I noticed - there's a sticker on the box that says "Audio burns at 24X max speed" ]

*EDIT*
Just noticed - look at the Plextor 40X CDRs. They say:

40 X media (32X certified)

So, I guess they're really just 32X, but you can push them. In other words, JUST GO BUY SOME 32X CDRS.

i dont have a plextor, i was just saying those were the only ones i found that said 40x

thanks for the help though, i appreciate it

guess ill just buy some 32x!
