900 Mhz t-bird, pro2a w/add in ATA 66 controller card. Only thing on controller is a zip-100 as primary master.
HD:primary master. No slave.
Teac CD-Burner and Toshiba 16x DVD-ROM. Secondary Master, Secondary slave, respectively.

Here's the question...
Want to add a CD-ROM drive. Where should I put it?
choices...
1. Primary slave with the HD.
2. As a master on the secondary IDE channel on the controller card.
3. Somewhere else.

What do you think?

Also...Is this too much for the 300 watt enlight power supply?

Thanks, Mac

DItto. No, that's not too much for you PSU unless it is a total POS.

My sys:
Tbird 850@866(woot! :p)
slot load pioneer cdrom
cdrw
zip
hard drive
modem
sound card
nic
V3 3K
additional case fan
Sparkly 235W PSU w/no problems whatsoever

Considering adding another pioneer drive I have laying here...

Seeing as nothing else is on your controller card on the secondary, then I would also say put it as secondary master on the controller card.
