It seems like he's fallen off the political radar this past month, and I was kinda curious as to what he's been up to. My guess is that he's out on the campaign trail and doing a lot of the dirty work for the campaign. I really think he needs to show his face and take some of the spotlight and attention off of Kerry. After all, he was picked partly for his Southern charm, why not use it now when Kerry seems to be dipping in the polls.

Huh? What do you mean by dirty work? Anyone that is associated with a campagin and doesn't do public apperances at rallys does dirty work? If thats true, Cheny must be living in a pig sty...
 
He was down in New Orleans twice.

Was just there last week.

He went to the Economic and Job Center which is being constructed near New Orleans.
 
He's out bringing an action against some MD who voted for Bush last time.. I suppose. Either that or someone smart figured that with all this war hero stuff that Edwards ain't your basic Francis Marion.
 
Blah it's all over when Bush pops Osama out Nov first, He has him on ice in the south pacific in some destroyer. (would'nt you?) . Hope you guys arnt sending Kerry any money.

Since I get some $ from the Federal Government and you pay taxes to enable that, I want you to know that anything I do send to Kerry comes directly from you.. you and CAD... hehehhehe😀

Hehe🙂 I don't pay any taxes Lunar, you should know I'm smarter than that. geez. I'm also smart enough to work for a 403B to elimiate SS tax which is all but impossible to escape.. I guess prop tax is the killer my meager $8000 a year has to scape together somehow.
 
Maybe he doesn't wanna make Kerry look bad by comparison? ...since he's running with someone he's better than and could beat and all...

Poor Zebo... how can you exist... sniff, sniff, sniff...

Property tax.. hehehehe I fall under Prop 13 since I've been here since '69... and my tax bill is about 450 a year.. of course then there are the other thingi they add on like sewer and fire and lighting which adds another 450 a year... sniff, sniff...
Next door and the property next to it have both razed the structures and are building 5400 and 5500 sq ft. places.. now the dirt alone next door was bought for 700 or so cuz I figure the cost to raze at maybe 30K.. they'll be paying around 250$ a foot to build what they've got going.. so they both will have over 2m in the house before landscaping.. that is one wopper of a tax bill... and I want to thank them for supporting our little community but, can't find the right words.. hehehhehe

Too funny . . . I'm sure most non-Californians have no clue. Granted, Prop 13 (and housing costs in general) is one reason why I will probably never move to the Left Coast . . . unless of course I sell out. Three people have left my department in the past two years for jobs in industry paying 2-3x their Ivory Tower penance.

What happens when say someone like Arnold sells a property in SoCal and buys a new home in Sac? Does he get to keep his old tax rate or does he pay the prevailing rate?
