Where the heck is this popup coming from???

Ok folks I keep getting this error message and I can not figure out where it is coming from?

The error is as follows:

Open File - Security Warning

Do you want to open this file?

<file info, basic MP3 info>

While files from the Internet can be useful, this file type can potentially harm your computer <blah, blah blah> Hyper link with what's the risk. There's a yellow shield with an exclamation point in the center on the bottom left corner of the popup.

It looks like something from IE but I do not have IE set as my primary browser and this popup only seems to come up with an alarm clock program I use. I tried using another program but it also generates the same popup. If I use a local file (the files I had been using previously are on a local fileserver) the popup does not occur which leads me to believe it's ZoneAlarm. The problem is I can't find the setting in ZoneAlarm to turn it off if it is indeed the problem.
