Im looking to snag an ultrafast alpha box(>800Mhz), preferably one that houses a 21264, but where the heck can you get one of these things?

I would buy either new or used, and there should be a lot of them, since most of the people in the world are fools and use x86 for everything now.

Digital was bought up by - hmm, Compaq I think - so there won't be a new Alpha for a while.

As for used, call some universities around you - sometimes they sell surplus stuff, and maybe you get lucky.
There are also places that sell old workstations online, but I don't have a link.
But start with this google search.

Actually, start with this one, the other one brings up a lot of unwanted stuff.

Try out EBay, lots of RISC boxes going for low prices there, including Alpha's.

Whoa :Q! What's the specs of your Alpha?

well... only 190-200mhz (not exactly sure), 192mb ram, 8 scsi disks (1gb and 2gb disks), runs on windows nt4 and has a built in unix in the bios, rather strange. And its loud, very very loud so its been sitting beside my bed for over a year. Best of all is that I got it for free :)
