Where the H are the Windows 8 Touch Screens?

Seriously. I though touch was supposed to be a major component of the Win8 revamp. In the Win8 commercial the lady puts a flat touch screen Sony monitor on the easel for the little girl to "paint" her pictures. Where is that monitor? Or Is that a tablet? Regardless, where are the touch screens?

I saw that after the deal was sold out... 4 inches thick, though the price was amazing. Why aren't there monitors with ultra-thin tablet-like profiles available?

I guess the cost is too high to make them in large format sizes.

I do not see the appeal of having a huge 24"+ touchscreen at my desk. I go crazy when I see a smudge on my monitor as it is. I could not imagine all the grime that would build up in a few hours usage.

+1. A good monitor should only be used as a touchscreen after some plastic surgery to the fingertips - plastic as in plastic that is, not what's usually understood by the term 'plastic surgery :twisted:
