Where The F is the Mac Address On The DS Lite

To find your DS's MAC address:

* Open up the WiFi settings in a WiFi enabled game
* Hit options
* Hit System Information
* Take note of the MAC on screen

You can find this on your router if you have connected it, too. The admin interface should have an option to view the MAC's of machines that have authenticated on it.

Yes, the New Super Mario Bros. DS also has a wireless multiplayer mode in which one player takes control of Mario and the other plays as Luigi in a race to finish levels first, while disabling your opponent with various power-ups.

Edit: Or so I have read.

is there any noticable lag playing people via the net? I'm thinking hard about picking one of these up...

I think that is peer to peer rather than over WFC.

Isn't it in the Wi-Fi settings panel? I vaguely remember there being a giant button that shows you your MAC address.

Depends on the game, and connection speeds of those involved. For the most part, I've had a good time of things so far.

Ignore this. Completely useless information if you don't have a game that has WiFi support and if you had that, you would be able to find the MAC easily.

Supposed to, but in practice, this almost never happens. Most prefab PCs with onboard NICs don't have the mac anywhere to be found - internally or externally. Most enthusiast mobos have them on stickers smacked on top of the parallel port, though, and virtually all wired and wireless NICs have them on stickers somewhere.
