maybe this question is wondered very often by many of us. could you guys who are and used to be college student give me some of your experience and suggestion about where to go to look for a job, how to look for jobs both in and out of your field. i am currently having a temporary job at my parent's place, but i start to think about when i get laid off. i just dont want to be a bum.
from what i know, i feel like the only source that you can get a job from is that by chance someone refer you to a job while you are in need for one. but out of referring like that, is there any consistent source to look for job like Fastweb.com for scholarship? it is actually better to have a fishing-rod other than a fish, am i right :)?
please if anyone can, please provide some tips. any input would be appeciated not only by me but also, i guess, by many people too cuz i think i am not alone. :)

I'd recomend against relying on places like monster.com

They can be good, but your best bet is still to check out local newspapers for the place you want to work.
