Where should I register a domain name?

I was about to do it at register.com but I remember hearing that some other places had more 'perks'?

Where should I register? and what additional features/services do they offer?

myip.com its free!!!! just run a piece of software that updates your dns entry

Hrm... something like email? or DNS management?

A new toaster would be kewl too, I can't fit sliced bagels in mine.

you get an address like rubberduck.myip.com

and then your domain is rubberduck.myip.com and the software constantly updates your dns entry if it changes if you have a static ip address no problems for you!
