Wanna start saving money since I just started my career. Currently only have a free checking account at Washington Mutual so I'd like a savings account that'll yield some interest. I'm thinking of directly depositing around $200 each paycheck to my savings. So any ideas or should I just open one @ WAMU?

HSBC, ING, Emigrant Direct. If you could get direct deposit into a citibank account (gets rid of fees), you could go with their 5% E-Savings too.

That's what I'll be doing. Switching from my BofA checking account to Citibanks and also getting their e-Savings.

I wouldn't open one at WaMu if you already have a checking account, it'll be too easy to take money out of it. You want to be able to have access to the account, but not too easily.
