I would like to buy an assortment of patch cables, from 18 inches to 25 feet, in different colors. What's a good online store with good quality cables and low prices?

Gotta give a plug for cables for less... haven't used their networking stuff before, but I just looked at their pricing and it seems pretty good.

link in sig (first "here" I think)

I'd buy a break-out box, plugs, and crimper if I were you.

Why colors? Fox and hound and identify specific cables easily.
and you can always get colored electrical tape...
Cat5? Cat6? Cat6e?

You can always do it the old fashioned way, earn it, by making them yourself. It's not the most enjoyable thing in the world, but yourself some CAT5E and go at it with some ends and Crimpers.

I have a spool of 1000 feet of blue cat5e and a crimper. I generally make my own cables, but for an upcoming project I don't have enough time to make dozens of cables. I'm wanting different colors to make life easier. Plus, in some applications, different colors just look nice. Why buy a snazzy ATX case when a beige case will work just fine? :)
