Get one with both hot and cold spigots. Do a quick search online -- I think bottle companies sell or lease the units.

if i wanted a list of a bunch of sites that sell water coolers or a list of a bunch of "review" sites run by advertisers i'd google it. if i wanted to be insulted with a lmgtfy link i'd go to yahoo answers. if i want to learn about a topic, i'll go to wikipedia with table salt in hand. but if i want ADVICE i'll come here

i go to anandtech for informed opinions backed by experience and unusual knowledge.

AFAIK, most people just subscribe to a bottle water service and have water delivered to their small office, as that's the most convenient method. You'll get the water cooler for free, makes icy and hot water. Delivery frequency depends on how much water your office drinks. My office uses Alhambra. We have about 8 people, we get delivery every week, with 6 gallon bottles. Don't know what the cost is though, I'm not the one paying the bills.

thanks for being a dick

Nah, you've just proven yourself to be the dick.

He provided you with a quality list of places to look for what you're seeking.

Since ATOTers are scattered all over the map, it'd be difficult for any of us to tell you exactly what B&M store to go to in your locale.

Over the years, we've had Alhambra and Arrowhead water service. Never had one of their hot-water or refrigerated water dispensers, just the ones that dispense what's in the bottle.

I've had the heated ones at work before. Kind of nice, but they don't heat much at once.

That's 'cause the hot water is for cup o noodle, not for you to take a bath.

Well fuck...NOW you tell me.

(actually, I think they're designed to make a cup of coffee or tea, but if you want to eat that "shit in a cup," be my guest. Do I need to provide the two girls?

I bought mine from target...best thing ever to have in Phoenix.

There are some that have hot/cold and then some that have a bit more specific hot settings. In my opinion the only reason you'd need these extra hot settings is if you're trying to make various types of loose leaf teas as green has a different brew temp than say a black tea. However, it's just as simple to let the water sit for a few seconds to cool off or stick it in the microwave for 30seconds to heat it up to like 210farenheit or so.

Long story short you should be able to walk into any target and get a solid water cooler and some 10 gallon tanks. As far as refilling I"m not quite sure how it goes in other places as there are refill stations everrrrywhere in phx. Get the biggest one you can find though and buy two tanks - one to use and one to have on hand for replacement. And replacing has always been a messy prospect - supposeldy there are some filters you can get to stick on the opening which slows the flow of water so it doesn't get everywhere when you replace..but I haven't seen.

If you want to get one locally, places like Costco and Sams Club sell them.

Last weekend when I was at Costco I saw one for $129.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them at my local Frys also.

If you're looking to have one delivered then I'm sure Amazon would carry them as well.

Also I know that Sams Club does water bottle exchange service.

You basically just take your empties in with you then they give you a receipt/paper showing what you turned in, you grab full bottles of equal amounts on your cart and then check out and give them the paper you got when you came into the store.

I have a GE Profile one, it has a cold/room temp/hot spout. And a tiny fridge at the bottom. Was $225 at Home Depot. ONly downside is the water comes out slooooooow. I'm talking 25 seconds to fill up a 16oz cup. Making a pitcher of Tee or Kool-Aid is a trying experience. The water temps are adjustable, fridge area is nice to store a few bottles of Newcastle. Also has a clock and alarm clock and calendar.

OP is a moron for asking for advice and then yelling at the person who gave it.

he didn't provide me with anything except a condescending link to "Let me google that for you." a direct link to a google search would have been just as useless and only slightly less insulting. i know how to use google, i already had that list so he did not provide me with a quality list nor did he give me any advice

most of the other responses in this thread have at least tried to be more helpful and many have related personal experiences. thanks

what i've found through many years on anandtech is that certain people often have unexpected knowledge and insight on mundane topics... i thought maybe water coolers might be one of them

edit: on rereading the original response, i may have interpreted his suggestion to get one with hot and cold spigots as sarcasm, but i guess it is true that many coolers only come with cold
