Where can I find wiring instructions for my salvaged laptop LCD's to be used as standalone monitors?

Is this the right forum?

Goal: I want to use these as server and a security system monitors, I'll add a roaming keyboard & mouse as needed but I'd like to do a quick monitor of the system by viewing the LCD.

If it would help I'll post photos.

All suggestions welcome.

THG had some writeups on this -- you can use it with an overhead projector to make a front-projection LCD display. However, you also need the control boards from the laptop. They're generally not standardized.

Or as I just discovered an older vesa card, of which I finally got rid of my old vesa video cards....

Perhaps I can remove the controlers... my problem has just moved from the wiring of the ribbon cable on the TFT to wiring the controler...

Oh well

TIA

Odds are, a given LCD is not compatible with a given controller. Nine times out of ten, it's cheaper to buy a new LCD.
