I have some basketball and football cards that I've dug up from my younger years and I remember them being quite valuble back then... I was wondering if anyone knew here where you could find the value of these trading cards?

Do a search on Egay....they are always a good gauge for real world prices. You could also check locally for a card trader.

Buy a copy of Beckett's price guide (or pay to access it online at beckett.com) and figure you'll get maybe 10% of the listed prices if you're lucky.

If you get your valuable cards graded by PSA or someone like that, you can ebay them much easier and get more money.

Your title says "playing cards", I think you meant "trading cards".

There used to be one, but it was only for graded cards. It was taken offline.

Since the prices are so volatile, noone is making a regularly updated free guide. Buy a beckett magazine or look up individual cards on eGay

Try here. They get their card prices from Tuff Stuff (Tuff Stuff used to have an online guide but it looks like they transferred to this site. Beckett.com also has an online price guide, but you have to pay a monthly fee to use it.

<EDIT> Forgot to mention - you have to register for the Tuff Stuff guide, but it is still free </EDIT>
