Where online to buy bulk RG6 coax?

I can't tell you where to buy the cable at all. However, I wanted to give you props for your "larger than an alternator" reference. 😀

Local industrial electronics joint. smallest boxes are usually 1000' AFAIK.
They'll have connectors and crimpers too.

doh, missed the online bit

Well I guess it doesn't have to be online. I'm just not sure where to get it locally other than a ridiculously overpriced RadioShack.

Yeah but shipping from an on line source would be high.

Just go to Lowes and pick up a boxed spool of it. I don't think its going to get any cheaper online unless you buy 1000+ feet of it...

Ideal makes a compression crimper and connectors that work great. The toughest part with the quad shield stuff is getting the connector on to crimp it.

Tigerdirect 250FT $29.99

I am not a big fan of Tiger Direct, but this is the best price I have seen on 250FT

The cable at Tiger Direct is listed as being made by CablesToGo. The same 250 ft. roll of cable at their own website is listed at $64.99. Quite a bit of difference in price.

Your link to cables to go, is for DUAL rg6.

The single rg6 is here

Someone really ought to mention Home Depot.

I could not find anything but copper clad center conductor at both Home Depot and Lowes so if he needs solid copper core he'll probably need to look elsewhere.
