This girl in my science class last year was Captain of the Varsity team, made Regional All Stars, she had some pretty cool stories to tell. She said when you're defending and you're pretty much going one on one w/o a ball against some other chick, the whole thing is trying to get her top off so she'll become distracted. Needless to say, I shall be attending all womens water-polo matches this year :)

She also somehow like swift-kicked this chick in the head, ended up giving the girl a concussion. I was told that the two game suspension was worth it though.

I played my freshman year of high scool in california. It is one of the toughest sports, period. Consider that at least on every land based sport, you won't drown if your legs stop moving. A guy on our freshman team got ejected and possibly suspended for turning around decking the defender. Knocked the guy out for a few seconds.

Chick water-polo, that sounds like fun :) So....there's alink or something? PM please!

Water polo players are brutal. Some people I knew on the University of Michigan water polo team told me that all sorts of nasty stuff goes on underwater... ball-kicking, scratching, shoving, etc. I doubt those guys are playing friendly.
