I don't know about it being glorified, but there whole way of doing things seems to me to boil down to "do whatever it takes" to get the job done. They have show time and again that THEY are willing to do that. SO, what's so WRONG with US playing by the same rules?

I seriously doubt that the death of 50 terrorists will discourage further terrorism. If anything, they would love to have something like this happen today and rally more anti-US sentiment.

It would:
1.Help satisfy some peoples need for revenge.
2.Piss off Muslims and add credence to their belief that the US is out to destroy Islam.
