Where is the username and password of a network printer stored?

I entered a user and a password on my Windows 7 for an IPP printer. Then the in the printer server got deleted and I need to add a new one. However, Windows won't allow me to add a new one. It simply says "Authentication problem". I have tried to delete the connection and the driver from the list but whenever I try to add it again, it will automaticly pick the already deleted user and give me an error.

Any ideas?

Check if it's listed in the 'Credential Manager' control panel. Also even though the 'Print Spooler' services has improved a lot it still needs a restart if you forcibly make changes.
